Dr. Sue Keller earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, after graduating Cum Laude from Harvard University. She completed a General Practice Residency at Hartford (CT) Hospital and was an on-call member of the oral and maxillofacial surgery trauma team.
First established in Greenfield in 1995, she relocated from Franklin to Hampshire County in 2007 to better serve the local Florence and Northampton, MA communities with exceptional dental care in a comfortable setting.
Dr. Sue is passionate about empowering patients to take care of their smiles and create dental wellness for a lifetime. She created “Smile Shares” preventive care memberships to level the playing field for patients without traditional dental insurance.
Your whole family will feel comfortable with Dr. Sue. She particularly enjoys treating mature adults who feel they’ve neglected their smile and want to make a change, teaching women how to keep their smiles healthy during pregnancy, and showing young families how to raise cavity-free kids with her unique approach to family dental prevention.
Always focusing first on creating a positive experience, Dr. Sue makes sure her guests aren’t rushed, whether they are here for their preventive hygiene visit or restoring dental implants. It is critical to her that guests understand and feel comfortable with their best options.
In order to consistently provide the best care to her patients, Dr. Sue continually invests in education for both her and her team. She has received advanced training with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation to safely provide comfortable care to patients with dental anxiety. She also did extensive post-doctoral studies with Dr. John Kois in Seattle to learn to create long-lasting, predictable results for her patients.
Dr. Sue is well-known in local communities, serving on local boards, supporting local business, musical, and theater events. She serves as treasurer on the board of the Snow Farm Craft Center, studies improv comedy with the Happier Valley Comedy School, and sings women’s a Capella with High Definition of the Northampton Community Music Center, as well as the women’s quartet Pie Girls. She plays double bass in the Pioneer Valley Symphony, and rows with Northampton Community Rowing.
