Our Office | | | Strong & Healthy Smiles offers:
- High-tech diagnostic tests to help you protect your oral health. These new, quick, and non-invasive tests deliver information that will enable us to better determine the appropriate treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Our goal is early detection for more effective treatment.
- Digital x-ray technology, which means 80 percent less radiation and you'll see instant images on our computer (no processing chemicals or time) that can be enlarged, studied, discussed and highlighted for greater detail. Copies can be easily printed or e-mailed to any specialist or dental laboratories. You can even take home a copy if you like. We've been digital since 2001, making us the first practice in the Pioneer Valley to offer this amazing advance to our patients.
- Our intraoral camera allows you to take an aerial tour of your mouth with our mini-camera. You can view each of your teeth at 30-times magnification, showing important details that help us correct issues long before they become problems. Dr. Sue routinely takes pictures during treatment to better see the operative area and to make sure that the details are done well, even up close as sometimes bigger is really better!
- Digital Photography allows us to take instant, high quality images of your face and smile for treatment planning, to chart progress and for communication with any necessary specialists and laboratories.
- 3.8-times magnification surgical glasses with fiber optic lighting. Dr. Sue only practices with surgical magnification so that she can better see the details of your teeth and her work. Good lighting means better quality results and more comfort for you.
- High speed electric hand pieces are much faster than air drills, so your teeth will be healthy faster, and you will hear much less of that whiny air drill sound.
- We offer a host of DVD-based patient education modules on more than 100 of the most current dental treatment options available and other topics of interest.
