Dr. Sue gave "Infant-Toddler Toothcare: Top Ten Tips" educational talks to parents-to-be at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, in Greenfield.. She participates at local elementary schools in leading dental wellness for young children. Although the majority of her practice is adults, she is passionate about preventing the oral disease that she corrects on her adult patients daily, and preventing the negative dental experiences that can come from early childhood cavities.

As a child, Dr. Sue Keller had a sweet tooth and several cavities at a young age. Went she first when to the dentist, she was offered laughing gas
(which felt fun and "floaty," a comfortable injection, interesting tools to look at, and two prizes for being so cooperative during the treatment. She couldn't wait to go back, and couldn't understand why other people didn't like going to the dentist. She knew that it could be a comfortable experience! Later, with crooked and crowded teeth, and the economy in a recession, she wasn't sure whether her family could afford braces for her. When her dad worked extra jobs to pay for orthodontics, Dr. Sue learned first-hand the value of a beautiful smile and the confidence she gained from being able to smile without a hand covering her crooked teeth. She became a dentist to provide that sort of life-changing experience of a strong and healthy smile to her patients.
