In the CommunityDr. Sue is the creator of the Brushing IS for Babies program held at the Franklin Medical Center in conjunction with nurse Ellie Mitchell’s Baby Care classes for soon-to-be moms and dads. For several years she presented free classes to the community for infant and toddler toothcare for parents, grandparents, and other caregivers. Dr. Sue is always happy to present information on the benefits of dental health and early prevention techniques for all age groups. Dr. Sue serves on the Education Committee of the Valley District Dental Society,
determining which internationally acclaimed speakers to bring to the area for
seminars and spearheading the Dental Auxiliary Student Scholarship program.
Dr. Sue is very active in coordinating monthly education meetings of the Pioneer
Valley Womens Dentists.
Dr. Sue is the Valley District Representative to the Massachusetts Dental Society Council on Dental Practice and the liason to the hygiene and assisting training schools in Western MA/Northern CT. She travels to Southborough up to 5 times per year to discuss and make recommendations on pending legislation, Board of Registration, and Dental Society issues.
